People of Azad Kashmir Reject Protest Call by Awami Action Committee

Islamabad: The people of Azad Kashmir have rejected the protest call by the Awami Action Committee.

According to Radio Pakistan, disruptive elements resorted to violent actions after the failure of the strike. The source said that miscreants from the Awami Action Committee attacked peaceful citizens and injured several civilians during the violent protest. The injured were shifted to hospital after receiving initial medical aid.

The sources said that the armed miscreants also used weapons under the guise of a peaceful protest. The miscreants involved in violent actions will be brought to justice through legal proceedings.
