Pine Nut Orchards in South Waziristan Boost Local Economy

South Waziristan: The pine nut orchards planted by the Pakistan Army in South Waziristan have brought a positive economic shift to the local population.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Commissioner of Lower Kurram reported that the pine nut orchards and their trade have benefitted the local people by around fourteen billion rupees.

The orchards shown in a social media video are evidence of peace established in South Waziristan and reflect the success of various development projects.
