Planning Minister Calls for Implementing Green Revolution in Sindh

Karachi: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said Sindh province has suffered the biggest climate tragedy of modern times. Talking to media along with Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah in Karachi today, he urged the need to implement Green Revolution in the province.

According to Radio Pakistan, speaking on the occasion, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah also said that the provincial government has a clear stand on the construction of new canals in the country as there is already shortage of water in the Indus River.
