Planning Minister terms CPEC essential for economic transformation

Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has underscored the critical need to integrate the transportation system with customs operations to accelerate national development.

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad this evening, Ahsan Iqbal highlighted the necessity of establishing connectivity corridors in the coming years to fast-track the country’s economic progress.

He expressed regret over how the politicization of some long-term projects in the past hindered the country’s development.

The Planning Minister emphasized the significant transformational impact of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor on country’s economy, noting its role in driving economic growth and development.
