Planning Minister Urges Action Against Hate and Prejudice

Rawalpindi: Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, has emphasized the importance of curbing hate and prejudice to foster a healthier society. Speaking at a ceremony in Rawalpindi, Iqbal described these issues as detrimental to societal cohesion.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Iqbal highlighted the vital role played by minorities, including the Christian community, in Pakistan’s development. He affirmed that these groups enjoy religious freedom and contribute significantly to national prosperity and defense.

Iqbal also pointed to governmental initiatives aimed at empowering the youth by enhancing their skills and promoting self-reliance. These efforts, he noted, are part of a broader strategy to strengthen the nation’s future through its young population.
