Planning Ministry establishes unit to monitor implementation of five Es framework

Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal says a dedicated unit has been established at Ministry of Planning to monitor and evaluate the implementation of five Es framework encompassing Exports, E-Pakistan, Environment, Energy, and Equity and Empowerment.

Addressing a symposium in Islamabad today, he said the Prime Minister will soon announce a national agenda envisaging the priorities in line with the five Es framework.

The Planning Minister said the Ministries and relevant departments will then be monitored on quarterly basis to evaluate whether they work in consistence with these priorities.

He emphasized that no country can progress without education, research and continuity of policies.
