PM and Political Leaders Discuss Proposed 27th Constitutional Amendment

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held separate meetings with leaders of various political parties in Islamabad today. Those who called on the Prime Minister include President Balochistan Awami Party and Federal Minister for Science and Technology Khalid Hussain Magsi, Senator Manzoor Ahmed Kakar, Member National Assembly from Pakistan Muslim League-Zia Ijaz-ul-Haq, and National Party leader MNA Mir Pulin Baloch, as well as Senator Aimal Wali Khan and Senator Umar Farooq from the Awami National Party.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meetings focused on discussions and consultations regarding the proposed 27th Constitutional Amendment. The political leaders engaged in dialogue with the Prime Minister to deliberate on the implications and objectives of the amendment. The consultations are part of the government’s efforts to build consensus among different political factions regarding the constitutional changes.
