PM Appeals to Nation for Observance of Youm-e-Dua and Youm-e-Tashakkur on Friday

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has made a public appeal for the nation to observe Youm-e-Dua and Youm-e-Tashakkur on Friday. This observance is aimed at fostering peace in the region.

According to Radio Pakistan, the announcement was made by Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry during his address in the Senate. He emphasized Pakistan’s critical role in the upcoming Islamabad Talks, which are focused on achieving lasting peace and stability in the area. Dr. Chaudhry expressed optimism that Pakistan’s peace initiatives will culminate in the successful signing of the Islamabad Accord.

Several prominent figures contributed to the discussion, including Manzoor Ahmed Kakar, Danish Kumar, Khalida Ateeb, and others. The parliamentary session concluded with a schedule to reconvene tomorrow at 11:30 a.m.
