PM Assures Full Cooperation to AJK Govt for People’s Welfare

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says the Government of Pakistan will continue to extend full cooperation to the Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir for the welfare and well-being of its people. He was talking to the newly elected Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Syed Iftikhar Ali Gilani, who called on him in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif congratulated Syed Iftikhar Ali Gilani on assuming the office of the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and expressed his best wishes for his tenure. The two sides discussed in detail matters relating to peace and development in Azad Jammu and Kashmir as well as ongoing welfare projects in the region.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed that the Federal Government will continue to take all possible measures for the development and prosperity of the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Syed Iftikhar Ali Gilani thanked the Prime Minister and expressed his resolve to utilise all his capabilities for the development of the region and the welfare of its people.
