PM Commends Navy for Major Drug Bust in Arabian Sea

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has praised the Pakistan Navy for its successful anti-narcotics operation in the North Arabian Sea, highlighting the strategic importance of maritime security in combating drug trafficking.

According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Sharif expressed his appreciation for the crew of PNS Moawin, who intercepted and seized a substantial drug shipment valued at one million dollars. The Prime Minister described the operation as a significant achievement in the ongoing campaign against narcotics.

The Prime Minister emphasized the crucial role of the Pakistan Navy in ensuring maritime defense and preventing drug smuggling along vital sea routes. He noted that the nation takes pride in the dedication and professionalism of the Pakistan Navy personnel, whose efforts continue to safeguard national and regional security interests.
