PM congratulates Shigeru Ishiba on his election as Japan’s PM

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has felicitated Mr. Shigeru Ishiba on his election as the Prime Minister of Japan.

In a statement on social media platform X, he said Pakistan values its historic and friendly ties with Japan, which have grown steadily over the years.

Shehbaz Sharif said he looks forward to working closely with Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba to further strengthen and diversify Pakistan’s excellent bilateral relations with Japan.
