PM Decides to Provide Relief by Reducing Electricity Rates

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to provide substantial relief to the people by significantly reducing electricity rates while maintaining the prices of petroleum products at their current levels.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister announced that a package aimed at reducing electricity rates would be unveiled in the coming weeks. This initiative is part of a series of steps intended to meaningfully decrease electricity costs.

The Prime Minister stated that a comprehensive and effective strategy is being developed to lower electricity tariffs, with the details of the package being finalized. The relief package is intended to address the disparity caused by changes in international oil prices and other factors.

Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that the relief will not only lower electricity prices but also contribute to reducing overall inflation. He reiterated his commitment to prioritizing relief for the people since taking office.

The Prime Minister expressed his determination to reduce electricity rates and provide additional facilities to the public in the near future. He will personally announce the relief measures to the nation.
