PM Directs Timely Completion of All National Projects

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed that all projects of national importance be completed within the stipulated timeframe while maintaining high quality standards. He was talking to Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal who called on him in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister emphasized that timely completion of development projects remains the government’s top priority to promote public welfare, create employment opportunities, and achieve sustainable economic growth. The Prime Minister also stressed that all relevant ministries and departments should strengthen coordination and cooperation to further accelerate project implementation so that people can benefit from these initiatives at the earliest.

The Minister for Planning briefed the Prime Minister on the status of ongoing development projects, progress achieved so far, and the future course of action. Detailed discussions were held on projects being implemented under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).
