PM Expresses Satisfaction Over Pak-IMF Agreement

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed satisfaction over the staff-level agreement reached between Pakistan and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) under the Extended Fund Facility and Resilience and Sustainability Facility. In a statement, he highlighted that the agreement reflects an improvement in Pakistan’s macroeconomic indicators and signifies the IMF’s confidence in the country’s rapidly improving economic situation.

According to Radio Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that the IMF’s satisfaction with the pace of Pakistan’s economic growth and institutional reforms demonstrates trust in the government’s policies. The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts of the Finance Minister and his team, which were instrumental in securing the agreement with the IMF.

Shehbaz Sharif also mentioned that the economy is moving in the right direction and assured that the government will take all necessary steps for the development and prosperity of Pakistan.
