PM Expresses Satisfaction Over Record $4.3 Billion Remittances in May

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed satisfaction over the record $4.3 billion remittances sent by overseas Pakistanis during the month of May this year.

According to Radio Pakistan, in a statement, the Prime Minister highlighted that the remittances increased by 20.2% on a monthly basis during May this year, and there was a 15.4% rise in remittances on an annual basis. He commended the overseas Pakistanis for their significant contributions.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the trust and positive contributions by overseas Pakistanis to the country’s economy are considered a national asset.
