PM Extends Felicitation on Successful Conduct of First Phase of AJK Polls

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has extended felicitation on the successful conduct of the first phase of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly elections.

According to Radio Pakistan, in a statement today, he also congratulated the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz on securing a clear lead in the first phase of the AJK elections. The Prime Minister said the PML-N conducted a highly successful election campaign in Azad Jammu and Kashmir under the leadership of party president, Nawaz Sharif.

He said the active participation of political parties in the first phase of the elections reflects the successful conduct of the democratic process. Shehbaz Sharif urged the people to participate in the remaining phases of the elections with the same enthusiasm to further strengthen the democratic process.
