Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has extended his congratulations to Aleksandr Lukashenko on his re-election as President of Belarus.
According to Radio Pakistan, in a telephonic conversation on Saturday, the Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to bolstering the longstanding and friendly relations between Pakistan and Belarus. He highlighted the significance of transforming these ties into a mutually beneficial economic partnership.
The Prime Minister recalled President Lukashenko’s visit to Islamabad last November and expressed his anticipation for his upcoming official visit to Minsk later this year.
President Lukashenko expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for the call and conveyed his best wishes for the progress and prosperity of the Pakistani people.
Both leaders shared their aspiration to deepen bilateral cooperation across all areas of mutual interest, building on the existing foundation of friendship and collaboration.
