PM Felicitates Law Ministry on Commonwealth Justice Award

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has extended felicitations to the Ministry of Law and Justice on Pakistan’s achievement of the Commonwealth Access to Justice Innovation Award 2026 at the Commonwealth Law Ministers Meeting. In a statement today, he appreciated the digital reforms and revolutionary initiatives aimed at improving access to justice under the leadership of Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar and Secretary Law and Justice Raja Naeem Akbar.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister said this achievement is a result of the extraordinary efforts of the team led by the Law Minister. He emphasized that the award is an important global recognition of Pakistan’s efforts to make access to justice more effective and to promote digital innovation in the legal sector.

Shehbaz Sharif remarked that such achievements enhance Pakistan’s international standing and reflect the government’s commitment to reform and improve public institutions on modern lines. He highlighted that receiving this honour in the presence of fifty-six Commonwealth member states is a significant global accomplishment for Pakistan.
