PM, Interior Minister Discuss Counter-Terrorism Measures in Lahore

Lahore: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore on Sunday, to discuss the overall law and order and security situation in the country. The meeting deliberated in detail on the counter-terrorism measures and other important security issues.

According to Radio Pakistan, Mohsin Naqvi briefed the Prime Minister about the law and order situation and the steps being taken by the Interior Ministry. The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts of the Interior Minister and his team and directed that coordinated and effective measures be continued to ensure the safety of lives and property of citizens.

He reaffirmed the resolve that protection of lives and properties of the people, ensuring rule of law, and completely eradicating terrorism are among the top priorities of the government.
