PM Pledges to Further Strengthen Pak-China Ties

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated Pakistan’s desire to further strengthen its all-weather strategic partnership with China. He made these remarks while meeting with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong, who called on him in the capital city today.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, the Prime Minister highlighted the positive trajectory of the bilateral relationship between the two countries. He emphasized the importance of enhancing people-to-people contacts and fostering exchanges between the political parties and parliaments of Pakistan and China.

Ambassador Jiang Zaidong handed over a letter from President Xi Jinping, which conveyed appreciation for the Prime Minister’s letter on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. The discussion also covered matters concerning bilateral cooperation and regional issues of mutual interest.
