PM, Political Leadership Deliberate on Proposed 27th Constitutional Amendment

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and leaders of various political parties engaged in discussions regarding the proposed 27th constitutional amendment during separate meetings held in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s delegation, comprising seven members, was led by their convener and Federal Minister Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Muslim League-Q sent a four-member delegation headed by Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Chaudhry Salik Hussain.

Additionally, the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party was represented by its President and Federal Minister for Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, who led his party’s delegation. Throughout these meetings, participants exchanged views and held consultations concerning the proposed 27th constitutional amendment.
