PM Praises PILDAT’s Role in Strengthening Democracy

Lahore: A delegation from the Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the delegation included PILDAT board members Mujibur Rahman Shami, Shahid Hamid, and Ahmed Bilal Mehboob. They briefed the Prime Minister on the organization’s activities and initiatives aimed at enhancing Pakistan’s democratic processes.

The Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for PILDAT’s efforts in improving democracy in the country. He acknowledged the significant contributions made by the organization in promoting legislative and governmental transparency.

Also present during the meeting were Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar and Speaker of the Punjab Assembly Malik Ahmed Khan, who joined the discussions on the importance of democratic development and transparency.
