PM Reaffirms Desire to Strengthen Relations with UK

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan’s desire to further strengthen relations with the UK in all spheres, particularly in trade, investment, education, and people-to-people exchanges. He was speaking to UK Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Faith, Communities, and Resettlement Lord Wajid Khan during a meeting in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed appreciation for the contributions of the British Pakistani diaspora, highlighting their role as a bridge between Pakistan and the UK. He also extended his best wishes to His Majesty King Charles III and Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

The Prime Minister commended Lord Khan’s efforts in promoting Pakistan-UK relations and exploring new avenues for collaboration. During the meeting, Lord Wajid Khan briefed Prime Minister Sharif on his recent activities and initiatives aimed at enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries.
