PM Reiterates Pakistan’s Support for Iran at All Diplomatic Forums

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated Pakistan’s support for Iran at all diplomatic forums, including the UN Security Council and the OIC. He extended this support during a telephonic conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Tuesday.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister highlighted the importance of adherence to international law and principles of the UN Charter by all parties involved. He stated that Pakistan is closely monitoring the rapidly evolving situation in the Middle East and stressed the need for restoring peace through dialogue and diplomacy.

In response, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian expressed gratitude for the Prime Minister’s call and appreciated Pakistan’s consistent and principled support to Iran. He also acknowledged Pakistan’s constructive role in seeking a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
