PM Sharif Assures Protection of Chinese Nationals, Condemns Attempts to Undermine Pak-China Relations

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif made a resolute visit to the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad to extend his condolences following the tragic death of Chinese nationals in a recent terrorist attack in Karachi.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during his meeting with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong, Prime Minister Sharif expressed profound grief over the loss and emphasized that safeguarding the lives and properties of Chinese citizens in Pakistan remains a top priority for his government. He firmly stated that any attempts to undermine Pak-China relations through such heinous acts would not be tolerated.

The Chinese Ambassador, Jiang Zaidong, expressed his gratitude for the prompt response by the Pakistani government in the aftermath of the Karachi incident, acknowledging the efforts made to address the situation and reinforce security measures for Chinese nationals in the country.
