PM Shehbaz Commends Successful Negotiations & Agreement for Settlement of AJK Issues

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has appreciated members of the federal government negotiation committee and the Joint Action Committee of Azad Jammu and Kashmir for signing an agreement to settle all issues.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister described the agreement as an achievement for both Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized that the restoration of peace and normalcy is a positive development. The resolution of issues through the agreement has, in his words, effectively put to rest any conspiracies and rumors.

Shehbaz Sharif extended his congratulations to the members of the negotiation committee and expressed gratitude for their efforts in establishing peace. He reiterated the government’s readiness to address the concerns of the Kashmiri people, highlighting that public interest and service remain top priorities.

The Prime Minister urged the Kashmiri people to disregard rumors. He reaffirmed the government’s longstanding commitment to protecting the rights of the Kashmiri people and assured that these rights will continue to be safeguarded in the future.
