Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has extended his congratulations to the government and people of the State of Kuwait on the occasion of their National Day and Liberation Day.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister sent heartfelt greetings to the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. He expressed Pakistan’s solidarity with the Kuwaiti nation, celebrating their rich history and commendable resilience in safeguarding their freedom against foreign threats.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the strong bilateral ties between Pakistan and Kuwait, emphasizing their foundation on shared history, faith, and culture. He noted that the two countries have consistently supported each other during challenging times.
The Prime Minister also expressed his eagerness to work closely with Kuwait’s leadership to further strengthen bilateral relations, enhance mutually beneficial cooperation, and contribute towards regional peace and prosperity.
