PM Shehbaz Sharif Advocates for Political Stability to Foster National Progress

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the critical need for political stability and the continuity of policies for the nation’s advancement during a dinner hosted for coalition party parliamentarians last night.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister pointed to the recent drop in the inflation rate to 9.6 percent in August as evidence of the effectiveness of the government’s economic strategies. He also shared optimistic forecasts from economic experts who predict further decreases in inflation this month, which he described as positive news for the country.

Prime Minister Sharif highlighted the government’s successful efforts to avert a financial default, attributing these achievements to divine assistance and the impactful implementation of economic reforms. These measures, he noted, are starting to yield prosperity for the populace.

The dinner also addressed the government’s ongoing initiatives such as the digitization of the economy and the commencement of rightsizing and downsizing efforts aimed at reducing government expenditures. On the topic of electricity tariffs, Shehbaz Sharif assured that measures are being taken to alleviate the burden on the poor and lower-income segments of society.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister condemned the use of inappropriate language at a recent public gathering by another political party, labeling it as highly objectionable.

The event concluded with coalition party members expressing strong support for Prime Minister Sharif’s leadership, commending his role in stabilizing the economy and steering the country towards progress.
