PM Shehbaz Sharif Arrives in Baku for Azerbaijan’s Victory Day Commemoration

Baku: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Baku to attend the ceremony marking the 5th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s Victory Day. He is visiting at the invitation of President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan.

According to Radio Pakistan, upon his arrival at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, the Prime Minister was welcomed by Azerbaijan’s First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Fariz Rzayev, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Qasim Mohiuddin, and other diplomatic staff. Accompanying the Prime Minister is the Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar.

During the visit, Prime Minister Sharif is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with President Ilham Aliyev to discuss matters of mutual interest and further strengthen the relationship between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
