Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has extended his congratulations to the Independent Group, led by Ahsan Bhoon, for achieving a majority in the Islamabad Bar Council and Punjab Bar Council elections. The Prime Minister conveyed his best wishes to all the successful candidates of the Independent Group and other participants.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister highlighted the significant role that the lawyers’ community has played in reinforcing democracy, ensuring justice, and safeguarding citizens’ rights. He acknowledged the pivotal contributions of legal professionals in these areas.
The Prime Minister expressed optimism that the newly elected legal representatives would continue to perform their duties with integrity, professional competence, and a strong sense of responsibility to serve society effectively.
