PM, Sultan of Oman Discuss Evolving Regional Situation

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received a telephone call from Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman this afternoon: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman engaged in a telephone conversation where they discussed the evolving regional situation.

According to Radio Pakistan, the conversation was warm and cordial, with both leaders exchanging greetings on the occasion of Eid. They conveyed their best wishes for peace, prosperity, and well-being to the peoples of both countries and the wider Muslim Ummah.

During the call, Prime Minister Sharif expressed Pakistan’s solidarity with the people of Oman, who have suffered attacks in various parts of the country. He emphasized the importance of maintaining peace, stability, and constructive dialogue in the region.

Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the longstanding fraternal relations between Pakistan and Oman. Prime Minister Sharif extended an invitation to Sultan Haitham to visit Pakistan officially at his convenience. In return, he positively responded to the Sultan’s invitation to visit Oman at a mutually convenient date.
