PM to Hold Consultations with Coalition Partners on LG System

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced his intention to hold consultations with coalition partners concerning the local government system. This statement was made during his address in the National Assembly today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister acknowledged that an amendment related to local bodies was not included in the 27th constitutional amendment. Despite this, he assured the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) that he is committed to resolving the issue through discussions with other allied parties.
