PM Urges Dialogue to End Conflicts, Resolve Refugee Crises

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has called for ending conflicts through dialogue and diplomacy to resolve refugee crises around the world. In a message on World Refugee Day, he emphasized that addressing the root causes through peaceful means is essential for reversing the trend of protracted refugee situations.

According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Sharif highlighted Pakistan’s longstanding commitment to hosting Afghan refugees. For over four decades, Pakistan has provided refuge to millions of Afghans fleeing conflict, even with limited international support. The Prime Minister praised the people of Pakistan for their exemplary hospitality towards their Afghan sisters and brothers, underscoring the nation’s dedication to humanitarian efforts.
