PM Urges Expedited Progress on Apna Ghar Scheme

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has directed the officials concerned to accelerate work on the ‘Apna Ghar Scheme’. He was chairing a review meeting in Islamabad today on the progress of the Prime Minister Apna Ghar Scheme.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister emphasized that providing shelter to the common man remains one of the top priorities of the government. The Apna Ghar Scheme was specifically launched to address this need. He urged both public and private banks to extend maximum financing to ensure the scheme’s success.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister instructed officials to develop a strategy for implementing vertical and horizontal model housing projects under the scheme. The meeting was informed that banks have approved 204 billion rupees for the scheme, with 27 billion rupees in financing already completed.
