PM, Uzbek President Unveil Commemorative Plaques for Tashkent Street and Babur Park

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev unveiled two commemorative plaques for Tashkent Street and Babur Park in Islamabad today. A road in Sector F-10 of Islamabad has been officially named Tashkent Street.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister and the Uzbek President jointly unveiled the commemorative plaque marking the naming of the street. Meanwhile, Babur Park will be constructed in Sector F-7 of the Federal Capital. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev also unveiled the plaque for the construction of the park.

The naming of Tashkent Street in Islamabad and the establishment of Babur Park reflect the deep-rooted, brotherly relations between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
