PMD Predicts Rain-Wind/Thunderstorm Across Key Regions

Srinagar: Pakistan Meteorological Department The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast cloudy weather accompanied by rain-wind/thunderstorm in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, Potohar region, and Kashmir over the next twelve hours. Isolated heavy falls and hailstorms are also expected during this period, while other parts of the country are likely to experience dry weather.

According to Radio Pakistan, the temperatures recorded this morning in major cities were as follows: Islamabad at twenty degrees centigrade, Lahore and Karachi at twenty-two, Peshawar at nineteen, Quetta at fourteen, Gilgit at eleven, Murree at eight, and Muzaffarabad at thirteen degrees centigrade.

The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates cloudy weather with chances of rain and wind with thunderstorm in Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla. Leh is expected to experience cloudy weather with chances of rain and snow. The morning temperatures recorded in
these areas were: Srinagar, Shopian, and Baramulla at eight degrees centigrade, Jammu at twenty, Leh at minus-four, and Pulwama and Anantnag at seven degrees centigrade.
