PML-N and PPP Unite for Upcoming By-Elections

Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan People’s Party have agreed to jointly contest the upcoming by-elections in the country. This collaboration was announced during a joint news conference held in Islamabad by PPP leader and former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, alongside Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi and Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry.

According to Radio Pakistan, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf elaborated on the details of the agreement, stating that both parties will nominate their runner-up candidates from the national and provincial assembly constituencies as their representatives in the by-elections. This strategic partnership is aimed at ensuring mutual support for each other’s candidates throughout the election process, strengthening their combined electoral efforts.
