Portugal Praises Pakistan’s Mediation Efforts in West Asia

New york: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met Portugal’s Minister of State and Foreign Affairs, Paulo Rangel, in New York today. The two leaders discussed matters of mutual interest, including bilateral relations, regional developments, and cooperation at multilateral forums, particularly the United Nations.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Portuguese Foreign Minister appreciated Pakistan’s mediation efforts in West Asia. The two sides also exchanged views on the Palestinian issue. During the meeting, Ishaq Dar extended an invitation to Paulo Rangel to visit Pakistan, which he warmly accepted.
