President and PM Pledge to Eradicate Terrorism from Pakistan

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have commended security forces for their successful operations against Fitnah al Khwarij in Dera Ismail Khan and North Waziristan. In a statement, the President emphasized that the complete elimination of foreign-backed terrorists from the homeland will continue with national consensus.

According to Radio Pakistan, the President highlighted that the killing of terrorists, including the Kharji ring leader Alam Mehsud, who were supported by Indian forces, is a result of the successful strategy of security forces.

The Prime Minister, in his statement, expressed that the security forces are achieving significant victories in the fight against terrorism under the vision Azm-e-Istehkam. He assured that the entire nation stands with the armed forces in the war against terrorism.

He reaffirmed Pakistan’s determination to completely eliminate all forms of terrorism from the country.
