ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have reaffirmed the nation’s commitment to eliminate terrorism, while honoring the sacrifices of security personnel who lost their lives in an operation against terrorists in the Harnai district.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in their separate statements, the President and Prime Minister paid tribute to Major Muhammad Haseeb Shaheed and Havildar Noor Ahmed Shaheed for their ultimate sacrifice in defending the country.

They emphasized that the nation will forever remember the sacrifices made by the martyrs and their families. Furthermore, the President and Prime Minister reiterated the nation’s determination to persist with efforts until terrorism is completely eradicated from Pakistan.
