President and Prime Minister Acknowledge Security Forces’ Efforts in Balochistan

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have praised the security forces for their recent success in counter-terrorism operations in Balochistan. These acknowledgments came in the wake of multiple operations against terrorist elements in the region.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the President and Prime Minister, in their separate messages, described terrorists as adversaries to the peace and development of Balochistan. They reiterated the government’s commitment to continue fighting terrorism until it is entirely eliminated from Pakistan.

The leaders condemned a recent terrorist attack, asserting that such elements aim to destabilize the region. However, they emphasized that the security forces remain resolute in their operations to suppress these anti-state actors.

President Zardari specifically lauded the security forces for successfully neutralizing 23 terrorists in operations across various locations, including Kalat and Harnai.

Prime Minister Sharif expressed solidarity with the security forces, reaffirming his and the nation’s support in the ongoing battle against terrorism. Both leaders also offered prayers for the martyrs and their families, wishing for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and patience for their loved ones.
