President and Prime Minister Commend Security Forces for Thwarting Terrorist Infiltration

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have praised the security forces for successfully preventing the infiltration attempt by Khawarij terrorists in North Waziristan and Kurram.

According to Radio Pakistan, in their separate statements, they also paid tribute to the five security personnel who lost their lives defending the nation. The President stated that Fitna al-Khawarij and their Indian sponsors would not achieve their malicious objectives. He emphasized that the counter-terrorism campaign, under the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam,” will persist until terrorism is completely eradicated from the country.

The Prime Minister also expressed his deep respect for the five personnel who were martyred while courageously battling the terrorists. He offered prayers for the martyrs’ ranks to be elevated and extended condolences to their families. Shehbaz Sharif conveyed that the entire nation honors the security forces for their bravery and sacrifices, reiterating the government’s commitment to eradicating all forms of terrorism from the country.
