President and Prime Minister Condemn Suicide Blast in Islamabad

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have strongly condemned the suicide blast by the Indian-backed Fitna-al-Khawarij and Fitna-al-Hindustan near the Islamabad District Judicial Complex.

According to Radio Pakistan, in their separate statements, they expressed their heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. The President, in his statement, remarked that terrorist elements are enemies of Pakistan’s peace and stability and emphasized the imperative of completely eliminating the terrorists who are operating in Pakistan with external backing. He also paid tribute to the personnel of law enforcement agencies who sacrificed their lives.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his statement, declared that terrorist attacks on unarmed citizens of Pakistan by Indian terrorist proxies are condemnable. He called for an investigation into the incident and expressed the resolve that all those responsible will be brought to justice. The Prime Minister asserted that the blood of innocent Pakistanis will not go waste, and such cowardly acts of terrorists cannot shake the country’s resolve against terrorism. He affirmed that the war will continue until the complete elimination of the scourge of terrorism and the killing of the last terrorist of Fitna-al-Hindustan and Fitna-al-Khawarij.

The Prime Minister further stated that the time has come for the world to condemn such heinous conspiracies of India, highlighting that India’s actions to destabilize peace in the region have been exposed to the world.
