President and Prime Minister Grieve Over Karachi Building Collapse

Karachi: President Asif Ali Zardari has conveyed his profound grief and sorrow following the tragic collapse of a building in Soldier Bazaar, Karachi. In his statement, the President extended his heartfelt sympathy to the families affected by the incident.

According to Radio Pakistan, the President has issued directives to ensure that the injured receive the best possible medical care. He emphasized the need for a prompt and effective rescue operation and instructed the Sindh government to conduct thorough inspections of buildings, ensure the safety of gas cylinders, and implement building codes rigorously. The President also called for a comprehensive investigation into the incident to prevent future occurrences.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has similarly expressed his sorrow over the loss of lives in the tragic event. He offered condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the souls of the deceased. The Prime Minister also directed that all necessary medical treatment be provided to those injured in the collapse.
