Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have conveyed their condolences following the devastating earthquake in China’s Xizang region, which resulted in significant loss of life and property damage.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the President released a statement expressing Pakistan’s solidarity with China during this challenging period. He emphasized the country’s shared sorrow with the Chinese people and extended prayers for the swift recovery of those injured in the disaster.

Prime Minister Sharif also addressed the tragedy in a post on his X handle, expressing profound sadness on behalf of the Pakistani nation. He conveyed thoughts and prayers for the victims, their families, and all those impacted by the earthquake.
