President and Prime Minister of Pakistan Extend Congratulations to Turkey on Republic Day

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have conveyed their congratulations to the government and people of Turkey on the occasion of the country’s 101st Republic Day.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Zardari, in a statement, highlighted Turkey’s progress and development across various sectors over the past century. He expressed optimism about Turkey’s continued advancement under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, noting Turkey’s consistent advocacy for issues faced by the Muslim Ummah. The President also emphasized the enduring support both countries have provided each other during challenging times.

Prime Minister Sharif, through a post on his X handle, also congratulated President Erdogan and the Turkish nation, expressing pride in Turkey’s notable achievements. He affirmed his confidence in the strengthening of the historic brotherly ties between Pakistan and Turkey, expressing a shared vision for elevating the bilateral relationship to new heights.
