President and Prime Minister of Pakistan Mourn the Death of Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have expressed their condolences over the death of Jimmy Carter, the former President of the United States.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari sent a message offering heartfelt sympathies and condolences to Carter’s family and the American people. He commended Carter’s significant contributions to international peace and human rights, noting that his legacy would endure.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also conveyed his condolences via a message on the social media platform X. He expressed admiration for Carter’s humility, statesmanship, and advocacy for global peace, as well as his humanitarian efforts. Sharif emphasized that Carter’s contributions would be long remembered.
