Islamabad:President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have paid tribute to security forces for their successful operations against terrorist groups in Balochistan.
According to Radio Pakistan, the leaders acknowledged the efforts of the forces in combating terrorists associated with Fitna Al-Khawarij and Fitna Al-Hindustan, which operate with Indian support in the region.
In separate statements, they highlighted the successful elimination of more than 71 terrorists in various areas of Balochistan over the past 96 hours as evidence of the security forces’ professionalism and bravery.
President Zardari emphasized that operations will persist until terrorism, fueled by external support, is completely eradicated. Prime Minister Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to eliminating terrorism conducted with foreign backing on its soil.
