President and Prime Minister Praise Security Forces for Operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have commended the security forces for their successful operations against Khwarij in the Peshawar, Mohmand, and Karak districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, both leaders acknowledged the bravery and professionalism of the security forces in intelligence-based operations that resulted in the elimination of nineteen Khawarij. They also paid tribute to three security personnel who lost their lives during these operations.

The President reiterated the commitment to eliminate terrorism from the country and emphasized that operations against Fitna-al-Khawarij will continue until terrorism is fully eradicated. He noted the unity of the nation in the fight against terrorism.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his admiration for the security forces’ courage and determination. He assured that the attempts of Fitna-al-Khawarij to undermine the country’s peace and stability will be countered. He highlighted the sacrifices made by the officers and jawans of the security forces in their effort to rid the country of terrorism, emphasizing their dedication to national security and well-being.
