Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has given his approval to several significant bills and government summaries.
According to Radio Pakistan, the approvals include the Islamabad Capital Territory (Prohibition of Plastic Book Covers) Bill 2026, an environmental protection measure introduced by Senator Sherry Rehman. This bill aims to address environmental concerns related to plastic use in book covers within the capital territory.
